The FRK is the highly anticipated collaboration between Kelly Slater and Dann Mann for 2019. There's a funny story with this board, Mann first shaped this board for Kelly in 2015, but it wasn't until 2017 that it was seen in the water. So impressive was the level of surfing that Kelly demonstrated at Trestles, that the rumour of a new model spread like wildfire. This encouraged both parties to market the model and Kelly to say it was the board on which he would seek his final world title.
The FRK is a high performance model produced in LFT with basalt, so we can expect a fast, reactive and electric board in the manoeuvres. With medium hard edges to be able to adapt to different conditions, being the fast, powerful and tubular waves where this model shines with its own light.
The configuration is 5-keel FCSII.
